    Pre-Red Ribbon Week Activities:

    • Hope Squad will decorate the school with posters about not doing drugs. These posters will be displayed around the school.
    • The librarian will set up a special display in the library dedicated to a message about being drug free, including books and magazines about healthy choices.

    Monday  (Theme: “RED-Y To Live Drug Free!”/Wear Red)

    • Information about drug and alcohol use will be read on the morning announcements.
    • During class time students will sign the “I Pledge To Be Drug Free!” sign and display it on their door.
    • During PE classes, the PE teacher will teach about drugs and alcohol.

    Tuesday  (Theme: “My Team Doesn’t Do Drugs!”/Wear A Team Jersey)

    • Information about drug and alcohol use will be read on the morning announcements.
    • During PE classes, the PE teacher will teach about drugs and alcohol.

    Wednesday  (Theme: “Hats Off To Being Drug Free!”/Wear A Hat)

    • Information about drug and alcohol use will be read on the morning announcements.
    • During PE classes, the PE teacher will teach about drugs and alcohol.

    Thursday  (Theme: “Sock It To Bad Choices!”/Wear Crazy Socks)

    • Information about drug and alcohol use will be read on the morning announcements.
    • During PE classes, the PE teacher will teach about drugs and alcohol.

    Friday  (Theme: “Haltom Pride – Give Drugs The Slide!”/Wear Haltom Pride Or Orange And Black)

    • Information about drug and alcohol use will be read on the morning announcements.
    • During PE classes, the PE teacher will teach about drugs and alcohol.
